Opening: Psalm 27:1-6
Let us thank Jesus to be able to see this new day and week.
Let us invite the Holy Spirit in our midst.
Praise: Lord, I need you
Revelation 2:1-7
To forget: to lose conscience of something -> unintentional
To forsake: to abandon, to be conscious of something but decide to explicitly ignore it-> intentional.
We all know God talks to moral entities or to individuals.
Here God is saying to this entity that:
his actions: great
his outstanding work: exceptional
his perseverance: awesome
his righteousness: blameless
but his only fault: intentionally refuse to stay in perfect harmony with Jesus. Revelation 2:4
Prayer Points:
PRAYER POINTS
- Pray and ask the Lord to continuously watch over us wherever he sends us and whatever we do. Revelation 2:2-3
- Pray the Lord to give us the strength and the grace to Never forsake him in the busyness of our daily life. Revelation 2:4
- Ask God to grant us humility to listen and to accept his judgement when he corrects us or teaches us. Revelation 2:5
- Pray God to grant us Wisdom to keep doing what is good, pleasant and perfect. Romans 12:1
