Genesis 50:20

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.

 

Joseph went from his lowest lows to the palace in what's not just a story of a personal win but a sign of God's sovereignty over our dreams and wishes. 

 

His dreams, which initially caused his brothers' jealousy and led to him to becoming a slave, were not forgotten by God. Instead, God used as plan for a larger story He was writing. Joseph would eventually save nations and restore families! 

 

We all at one time have missed out on dreams planted deep within our hearts - a career aspiration that feels increasingly out of reach, a business venture that went south, a broken relationship, or a personal goal that seems impossible now, the pain of lost dreams is cuts deep. 

 

Joseph's story encourages us to see beyond the immediate disappointment and pain. 

 

What man sees as a dream buried is a seed planted by God! 

 

How To reactivate Lost dreams

 

1. Trust in God's Plan: Our timeline is not God's timeline. Trust that He is working behind the scenes, even when we can't see it.

 

2. Embrace the Process: Each step of Joseph's journey was crucial in shaping his character and preparing him for his eventual role.

 

3. Seek Transformation: Open your heart to seeing how God might be redirecting your path towards something more aligned with His will, which is ultimately for our good and His glory.

 

4. Help Others:  Think about the many ways the experience of a lost dream can be leveraged to serve others .

 

1. Ask God to heal every area of our lives that have been affected by lost dreams and opportunities. That he will heal our hearts from disappointment, our minds from negativity, and He will renew a right spirit within us.

 

 

2. Father, grant us the faith to trust in Your plan and empower us with the patience to endure the process, and the vision to see the redemption of our dreams. 

 

 

3. Ask God to use our lives, with all its trials and tribulations, as a platform to bring glory to His name. 

 

 

4. Ask God to breathe new life into the dreams we thought were dead. That the dry bones in our vision, may rise again, above human understanding

 

 

5. Pray that God will guide us to recognize the doors He is opening in place of those that have closed. That He will grant us the wisdom to discern the opportunities from our lost dreams. 

 

 

6. Pray that God will give us the strength to move forward with courage, to trust in His timing and to hold on to our faith.
