TOPIC: Dwellers In God’s Presence

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Psalm 27:1-6 (KJV)

Joseph had a testimony all through his sojourn in the strange land. From Potiphar’s house to the prison and eventually to the palace, it was said that God was with him” No wonder that the evil intention of Mrs Potiphar in sending him to prison because he refused to commit immorality became the platform to his greatness. The prison prepared him for the palace where he became the Prime Minister in Egypt. All these happened because he carried the presence of God with him. The favour of God enveloped him; hence, he easily attracted the favour of man, even of Pharaoh at that time in history.

David was called in scriptures, “the man after God’s heart”. That is, the man in whom God delights. The mark of God was upon him. Therefore, it was difficult for the hand of men to prevail over him (Psalm 27:1-2). Daniel and his friends became untouchable in the land of Babylon because they were dwellers in God’s presence. They were committed to prayers and following the way of holiness. They do not indulge in any sin or whatever could defile them. They were friends of God and enemies of the world. Like the apostle Paul, they carry the mark of God and no evil power could trouble them. God is looking for men and women who can be so outstanding for Him, not conforming with the world.

When a man dwells in God’s presence, he becomes a carrier of His glory and power. He becomes a terror to his enemies. He achieves uncommon things and does exploits for God. He is bold not proud, holy and hates sin. Do you want to be a dweller of His presence? You must have pure heart and holy hands. In God’s presence, there is fullness of joy and pleasure forevermore. These and more shall be your portion, in Jesus’ name.
