Topic: FIT FOR EXPLOITS

Content:

If ever we’re asked to do anything in the future, whatever it is . . . you can requisition whatever you need. If you need tents, I’ll get you tents. If you need canteens, I’ll get you canteens. If you need more rifles, I can get you more rifles. Or shovels, vehicles. You can requisition that. *You can’t requisition, when the moment comes, trust, discipline, and fitness*
— Gen. Martin Dempsey

None of the many traits of a explorer would be possible in ill-health. To be a explorer in the spirit, the carrier of the spirit should strive to be its mirror

Paul laid some emphasis on this responsibility in 2 Corinthians 6:16-18; 7:1

And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people." Therefore "Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you." "I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the LORD Almighty." Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God

*How to be fit for Exploits?*

*1. Intermittent Fasting*
“Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh.” –Galatians 5:24 (NIV)

Fasting is a tool that has been used for spiritual purposes for many years. However, fasting is not just for spiritual health—it can promote health and regeneration in the physical body as well.

Rather than a once-in-a-while event, intermittent fasting is the daily practice of narrowing your eating period to 8 hours each day. For example, with intermittent fasting, you would finish your final meal of the day at 6 p.m. and then fast for 18 hours before breaking your fast at 12 p.m. the next day. During the fasting period, you may continue to drink fluids such as water, herbal tea and black coffee.

Amazing results of intermittent fasting:
- Reversal of plaque in the arteries
- Lowered blood pressure
- Weight loss
- Improved memory
- Increased strength and energy.

This is a simple, free strategy to keep you living in divine health.

*2. Choose Right Foods*
“Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” –*1 Corinthians 10:31*

When you want to eat, choose life-giving foods for your body. This is one that's with less processed food and sugar.
For example, the No. 1 cause of death in the United States is heart disease, which comes from inflammation. What feeds inflammation? Sugar, bad fats, transfats, carbs, and starches.

*Daniel 1: 8-15*
8 But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way.

.. .. 12 Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see. So he agreed to this and tested them for ten days.
At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food

*3. Get Moving and Get Strong*
“There was not one feeble person among their tribes.” –Psalm 105:37 (KJV)

The human body is made for movement. Just like water turns stagnant when it isn’t moved, the body (which is 70 percent water) will also become stagnant and subject to disease when it isn’t moved.

*Prayer*

*4. Speak the Word of God*
“He shall have whatsoever he saith.” –Mark 11:23 (KJV)

By speaking the Word of God, we are enforcing our covenant right to divine health, healing, and longevity.

The Israelites kept speaking they were going to die in the wilderness - they were then limited to age 70/80. that’s where the limitation of living to age 70 or 80 came from, but God put the marker at 120.

*Prayer*

Prayer Points:

 *Prayer*

1. Pray that God will give you the grace to welcome physical and spiritual repair,  refreshment, peace, and passion into your body as you fast. That the body may be prepared to receive new health treasures.

2. Pray that God will help you to release your body from any unhealthy relationship with food, and grant you wisdom and strength to continually honor him by nourishing your body well.

3.  Ask God to empower you to keep your body as a living and holy sacrifice–the kind he will find acceptable.

4. Father, help me to commit to this journey of health. To unsee it as a burden, and see it an act of worship and preparation for the exploits You have set before me.
