- Genesis 39 – Joseph and Potiphar’s wife, in prison, in charge, famine, encounter with his brothers, favour with Potiphar
Lessons:
1. Be engaged – Before the mission Joseph was 17 years and working by tending tp his father’s sheep.
2. Vision – He spoke his vision
3. Hope – He never lost hope on several instances: Being sold as a slave and thrown into jail. All these were moments of trials. James 1:2
4. Honour – Honoured Potiphar’s wife, his family
5. Diligence
6. Gratitude
7. Humbleness / humility
8. Practiced forgiveness – not once to his brothers and to his masters wife. 
Outcomes of these characteristics
1. Wisdom, stature and favour
2. All things worked for his good
3. Peace
4. Saving of many lives not just his family and Egyptians
