Scripture:
The Logos means in greek word (written).
For Christians, logos is the word of God written and given to Moise on Mount Sinai. Exodus 24:12.
The logos is simply the word of God for Humanity given through the first testament (39 books) and the second testament(27 books).
Anyone can read the word of God to understand the will of God for humanity, to memorize the will of God, to apply the will of God in our daily life.
Anyone who limits himself at this stage is just a religious being.
The Rhema means in greek word (spoken).
For Christians, rhema is the word of God living in our heart. John 1:1-5
For the logos(word memorized) to become rhema( word living in our heart), one Must spend SIGNIFICANT time in the presence of the Lord, reading, studying, meditating the word of God, querying God, querying oneself. At any time, no one can perfectly know the mind of God unless he reveals it to us.
For the rhema to become a reality in the life of a Believer, the word of God Must dwell in our heart all life long. This requires a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly SIGNIFICANT time spent in the presence of the Lord.
When a believer carries the rhema; before any circumstance the believer is facing, good or bad, it becomes natural to spontaneously speak the word of God to the circumstance; it becomes natural and normal to give an order to the circumstance.
The Fruits
We all know that God is Spirit; those who worship him Must worship in Spirit and in Truth. John 4:24
As described in the letter of Apostle Paul to the People of Galates, the fruits of the Holy Spirit are: Faith, Goodness, Hope, Joy, Kindness, Love, Peace, Patience, Self control. Galatians 5:22.
There is a evident link between the logos, the rhema and the fruits of the Holy Spirit as explained below:
Any Christian believer starts his journey by acknowledging and memorizing the written word of God (which is the logos).
Then comes the time to intentionally let the word of God sink, stay and dwell permanently in our heart. The word of God becomes a living reality, where with spoken words, we can order things to be, out of the word and the will of God dwelling in our heart (which is the Rhema).
The consequence of having the rhema, is to see the fruits through the will of God: receiving clear revelations(propheties), healing the sick, being an instrument God uses to bring solutions and light of God when challenges arise. In one word be the head and not the tail.
Prayer Points:
Prayer points:
1- Let us ask God to help us not to fall into routine and to see perspectives more than what our eyes can see.
2- Let us ask God to help us to perfectly know his word, and not to dwell in the logos but to grow to reach the rhema.
3- Let us ask God to buy us time to worship him as he deserves during our lifetime.
4- Let us thank God for his Mercy that endures forever and for his precious blood covenant that frees us from any bondage.
