Daniel 5:22-23
And you his son, Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, though you knew all this, but you have lifted up yourself against the Lord of heaven!
Daniel warned Belshazzar, king of Babylon, that he had not learned to honor God and give Him thanks, even though he had witnessed how God had humbled his father, Nebuchadnezzer.
God sent Belshazzar a message, written on the wall of his banquet hall by an invisible hand. Yet only Daniel could read the writing, which translated, warned that the end of Belshazzar’s reign had come.
Thus, we have the saying to this day, He should’ve seen the writing on the wall
Belshazzar knew better. He knew about God, yet failed to honor Him with thanksgiving!

1. Father, break every pride in me, and grant me the grace to live a life that bows in total surrender to Your will.
2. Father, may I never misuse the gifts You have given me but use them to glorify Your name!
3. I declare that I will not miss the signs
.... of Your hand in my life. By the Spirit of revelation, I will walk in alignment with Your purpose.
4. Father, wash me with Your blood and renew my heart. Restore everything that disobedience has delayed or destroyed in my life!
5. Father, I accept Your authority over every area. Teach me to honor You daily and to trust in Your divine plan.
