A dream is the picture of a better future, sponsored by the imagination of scripture or the inspiration of the Spirit of God
How do I paint a picture?
1. By imagination: Dream big according to the promises of scripture.
2. By searching: Study God’s Word to discover His plans for you.
Dreams are the exciting parts of our purpose
Dreams without kingdom agenda is dangerous
Gen 45:4-5
- Joseph’s dream wasn’t for personal glory; it was to preserve lives and fulfill God’s covenant with Israel.
Dreams must have a kingdom agenda
Gen 37:2
- Joseph's brothers conspired against him because of his dreams. A tree with no fruit doesn’t get stoned.
Prayer Points:
Prayer Points
1. Father, inspire my dreams with Your Word and Spirit. Help me to dream according to Your purpose for my life (Joel 2:28-29)
2. Father, protect me from the attacks that come with my dream. Strengthen me to endure challenges and remain faithful (Genesis 37:17-20)
3. Father, align my dream with Your kingdom agenda. Let my purpose glorify You and advance Your will on earth. (Genesis 45:4-5)
4. Father, pour out Your power on me. Equip me to fulfill the dream You’ve placed in my heart (Acts 2:16-18)
5. Father, give me the faith to trust Your timing and to hold on to the dream even when the journey is difficult (Revelation 2:10)
