SCRIPTURES: PSALM 119: 97-114
Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; Seek Your servant, For I do not forget Your commandments.
Jesus reminds to his followers, to those who worship him in spirit and in truth that he is:
- their light: John 1:4 - John 8:12
- their foundation: Luke 6:46-49
- the cornerstone that hold their life together: Psalm 118:22 - Acts 4:11-12 - 1 Peter 2:4-10
Jesus remind us that we are an extension of him, we are his offspring: John 15
After reading and meditating all the above scriptures, after reflecting the power and promesses of the word of God in our lives daily, we can surely
speak like the psalmist in Psalm 119:105 - "Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path"
Your word dear Lord is the filter for the living.
