What do you do with disappointment?
Despite his disappointment in Jesus’ disciples he didn’t let that stop his belief in helping his son - Psalms 40:1-3
* We can hold on to it, foster it, nurture it. John 14:27, Trust Him— Jer 17:7-8, Psalms 18:3.
* I need to draw near and humble myself. Matt 5: 40-42, Col 3:12, 1 Peter 1: 8, 1 Peter 5:5
CS Lewis: Humility is not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less.
Phil: 2:8 — Acknowledge God as you his servant yielding to his call.
Question: Where is my faith? It’s not the amount that matters, it’s the level of focus. 2 Cor 5:7, Luke 1:37, Heb 11:1.
Let God mature your faith through the storm.
