Content:
Psalms 34:1-3
I will bless the LORD at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make its boast in the LORD;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
Oh, magnify the LORD with me,
And let us exalt His name together.
Psalm 46:1–7
God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells.
God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.
Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall;
he lifts his voice, the earth melts.
The LORD Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress."
Opening remarks
KEEP STRIKING, KEEP BELIEVING!
Do not stop praying.
Do not stop sowing.
Do not stop believing.
Do not stop pursuing what God told you.
Every “strike” is a step toward your prophetic victory.
KEY TEXT — 2 Kings 13:14–19
2 Kings 13:14-19
Elisha had become sick with the illness of which he would die. Then Joash the king of Israel came down to him, and wept over his face, and said, “O my father, my father, the chariots of Israel and their horsemen!”
And Elisha said to him, “Take a bow and some arrows.” So he took himself a bow and some arrows. Then he said to the king of Israel, “Put your hand on the bow.” So he put his hand on it, and Elisha put his hands on the king’s hands. And he said, “Open the east window”; and he opened it. Then Elisha said, “Shoot”; and he shot. And he said, “The arrow of the LORD’s deliverance and the arrow of deliverance from Syria; for you must strike the Syrians at Aphek till you have destroyed them.” Then he said, “Take the arrows”; so he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground”; so he struck three times, and stopped. And the man of God was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times.”
A. THE CALL TO PREPARATION.
“Take a bow and some arrows.”
Symbolism:
• The bow represents potential, preparation, and capacity.
• The arrow represents purpose, prophecy, and targeted spiritual impact.
• Together, they symbolize God’s strategy for victory.
• Taking them is a prophetic act: God requires your participation before He releases His intervention.
Lessons.
1. God will place tools in your hand, but He won’t pull them for you.”
2. Purpose becomes powerful only when it is picked up.
3. The arrow you refuse to take is the victory you refuse to experience.”
Supporting Scriptures
2 Kings 9:24
And Jehu drew a bow with his full strength, and smote Jehoram between his arms, and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot.
2 Samuel 22:35
He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
Ezekiel 39:3
And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
Hosea 1:5
And it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.
Psalm 127:4-5
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are children born in one’s youth.
Blessed is the man
whose quiver is full of them.
They will not be put to shame
when they contend with their opponents in court.
🔥 Prayer Point
“Lord, place the bow and arrows of purpose in my hands. Prepare me, equip me, and activate my potential. Let me not neglect the tools You have given me. Empower me to pick up every assignment, every calling, and every opportunity with boldness and readiness. Make me a skilled warrior in the Spirit, fully prepared for the victories ahead. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
B. DIVINE EMPOWERMENT
“Put your hand on the bow.”
When the king placed his hand on the bow, Elisha laid his hands over the king's hands.
This is a picture of divine empowerment—God adding His strength to your effort.
Principles:
• God strengthens what you are willing to touch.
• Your aim determines direction; your pull determines distance.
• Vision + Discipline + Faith = Launching the prophetic arrow.
• Without aim, your arrow misses purpose; without pull, it never reaches the promise.
Lessons.
1. When God lays His hand on your hand, your weakness becomes a weapon.
2. Vision gives direction; obedience gives acceleration.
3. The strength of your pull determines the reach of your destiny.
Supporting Scriptures
“He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.” — Psalm 18:34
Psalms 18:34
" He teaches my hands to make war,
So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.”
Proverb 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Psalm 32:8
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
Psalms 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Isaiah 30:21
And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.
Proverbs 11:14
Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.
Proverbs 16:9
The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.
2 Kings 13:16
Conclusions:
• God empowers your effort
• Aim = Vision
• Pull = Discipline
• Release = Obedience
🔥 Prayer Point
“Lord, lay Your hand upon my hands. Empower my vision, strengthen my discipline, and guide my steps. Let every action I take carry Your supernatural grace. Make my natural ability a vessel for Your extraordinary results. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
C. OBEDIENCE CREATES OUTCOMES
“Open the east window… Shoot!”
The east window symbolizes:
• New beginnings
• Resurrection
• Breakthrough
• A fresh dawn
• The direction from which light rises
Windows represent opportunities; the east represents God’s new season.
“Shooting” the arrow represents faith in action—releasing what is in your hand.
Spiritual Insight
Your obedience activates God’s outcome. The arrow became God’s arrow of deliverance, not the king's.
Supporting Scriptures
Isaiah 43:18-19
“Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.

Jeremiah 29:11
" For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
Philippians 4:13
" I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Lessons.
1. Opportunity opens, but faith fires the arrow.
2. You cannot step into a new season with an old level of obedience.
3. The arrow leaves your hand, but the outcome lies in God’s hand.
🔥 Prayer Point
Lord, open our eyes to new opportunities. Give us courage, clarity, and faith to step into the doors You open. Help us shoot the arrow of obedience with confidence.
D. PERSISTENCE DETERMINES VICTORY
“Strike the ground!”
The king struck the ground three times and stopped.
Elisha became angry—not because of the number, but because of the attitude.
Key points:
1. Partial Obedience Limits Full Victory
He struck three times. Elisha expected five or six.
Half-hearted action produces half-fulfilled destiny.
2. Faith Is Measured in Action
Every strike was a prophetic declaration of future victory.
Stopping early meant stopping breakthrough.
3. Expectation Determines Engagement
God honors bold, persistent faith.
Spiritual Principles:
• Don’t settle for small victories when God is calling you to total deliverance.
• Press until breakthrough comes.
• Strike until heaven responds.
• Finish the assignment—don’t stop prematurely.
Scriptures
1 Samuel 15:22–23
“Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice… Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He has also rejected you…”
Deuteronomy 28:1–2
“If you fully obey the Lord your God… all these blessings will overtake you.”
James 4:17
“To him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.”
Luke 6:46
“Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I say?”
Lessons.
1. Your persistence is prophecy in motion.
2. The intensity of your strike determines the magnitude of your breakthrough.
3. Never let hesitation cancel what heaven intends to complete.
4. Small effort cannot unlock big destiny.
🔥 Prayer Point
Lord, help me be fully committed to my calling. Give me the zeal to strike the ground five or six times—to go beyond minimal obedience. Strengthen my faith so I fully engage in Your instructions without hesitation.
FINAL EXHORTATION

Do not stop praying.
Do not stop sowing.
