A. Ruth 1:20
“. Don’t call me Naomi,” she told them. “Call me Mara, because the Almighty has made my life very bitter.
Our direction and paths are predetermined. God prepares the best for us in all we go through. He allows those to be tested, whom he knows have the capacity to be tested and in doing so he always provides a solution.
You don’t go alone into that test.
B. Ruth 1:16-17
But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the LORD deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.”
Ruth is a perfect example of one who put her faith in a “ divine “ in her life.
God has place many “divine connections “in your life
Having faith in these relationships will lead you to bigger grounds.
The question is is this a “divine connection” ? Has it come from GOD? The answer to these can only come from prayer and your ability to recognise what God has placed in your life. Your ability to see and trust through the eyes of the Holy spirit.
Some times that connection may not be wrapped in holiness.
God makes connections not only for your benefit but for all the participants in the connection.
C. Healing:
I would like to dedicate some time to healing in sickness.
We pray for Obed, Barry and Carmen as they go through this time of testing.
Psalms 41:3
The LORD sustains them on their sickbed
and restores them from their bed of illness.
Psalms 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.
James 5:15
And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.
3 John 1:2
Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.
Prayer Points:
Prayer :1
Let us pray for faith in times of testing. Let us pray that in our testing we will portray Our God as one who is victorious in all he does.
Let us pray that as we go through the times of testing that we may be able to portray the correct image of God , of Jesus in our words and our actions.
Prayer 2:
Let us pray that that the holy spirt will help us recognise the divine connections that are yet to come into our lives. Let us pray for those who have already come and made a difference to our lives.
Let us pray that we may gain wisdom of his will for the reason of the connection.
Let us pray that his Glory is bought to fulfilment as we fulfill the relationship with the “divine connection” he has placed in our lives.
Prayer 3:
Father Help us focus on you when the pain and hurt are so overwhelming. Help us be faithful and see the good blessings surrounding me. Strengthen our Mind, heart and body and let your healing flow for your Glory.
