Content:
*1 John 5:4*
‘*Unshakeable faith*’ emphasises a believer’s faith as to be firm and that cannot be weakened or destroyed.
*1 John 5:4* - “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”
*Hebrews 11:6* - “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
*Myths of Faith*
1. If I have faith, then I can have all the things I want.
*Hebrews 11:39-40* - “*And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise*, 40 God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.”

2. If I have faith, I can obtain what I want from God quickly.
*Hebrews 6:11-12* - “And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through *faith and patience inherit the promises.*”
3. The more miracles I experience, the more faith I have.

*Hebrews 3:7-10* - “Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice, 8 *Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of trial in the wilderness, 9 Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, and saw My works forty years.* 10 Therefore I was angry with that generation, and said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways.’”

*Hebrews 11:1* - “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

*Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. But your faith is strengthened by your ability to see in the Spirit.*
Prayer Points:
*Prayer Point 1*
Father, from today, I resolve to relentlessly expose myself to Your Word of truth and power. Let the entrance of word provide access to my spirit. As faith in You develops in me, let my ability to see what You see in the spirit be magnified.
*Four Factors that make faith unshakeable*
1. Knowledge of God’s nature and character - His integrity and ability.
*Romans 4:16-19* - 19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. 20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and *being fully convinced that what *He had promised He was also able to perform*.”

2. Love for God more than life (e.g., Daniel and the Three Hebrew Boys).
*Daniel 3:16-20* - “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego answered the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to answer you on this point. 17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire, and He will rescue us from your hand, O king. 18 *But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up!*”

If faith is unshakeable, this implies there is an attempt by extraneous forces to shake or undermine faith. *The assignment of Satan primarily is to assault your basis of your faith so you lose faith in God’s ability and integrity*.
So how are you deploying your SoF? The Shield of Faith (*Ephesians 6:16*) is a defensive weapon. Roman soldiers would form a complete shell to cover themselves, with the shields held overhead as well as in front and on the sides. This was so they could attack a city's walls and be protected from missiles like arrows.
*Prayer Point 2*
Father, I receive the courage and boldness that persist in the face of fierce battle and challenge. Help me to love You passionately. Let my love for You be greater than my love for life and her pleasure.
3. Make God’s Word the final authority (e.g., Abraham).

*Romans 4:16-18* - “Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all 17 (*as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”*) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; 18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”
4. Willingness to endure suffering

*Hebrews 11:35b-38* - “Others were tortured, *not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection*. 36 Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment. 37 They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented— 38 of whom the world was not worthy. *They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth. And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, 40 God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us*.”
The vehicle the enemy uses to attack your faith is mainly in the physical dimension: The five senses.
Unshakeable faith comes from sharpening your ability to see in the Spirit - Seeing what God sees.
*Hebrews 11:1* - “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
*Prayer Point 3*
Father, I obtain the grace that makes faith unshakeable. Help my faith to be grounded in your integrity and ability. Let my eyes be open to perceive what You see.
