Topic:  STRENGTH IN THE LORD.

Content:

Galatians 6:9

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

Hebrews 10:36
Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.

How to STRENGTHEN yourself.

1. Make GOD THE ONLY SOURCE of your strength.
Not people, church, family, prayer groups etc

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Psalms 27:1
The LORD is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?

2. WAIT upon the Lord in worship, prayer, word & in service.
Let us hide in the secret place to seek His Face and be refreshed.
Invite God into your situation and He will strengthen you and shift the perspective.

Isaiah 40:30-31
Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

Serve Him with gladness.

Psalms 30:8
I cried out to You, O LORD;
And to the LORD I made supplication:

Psalms 30:11 -12.
You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,
To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

3. PRAY in the SPIRIT.
We built ourselves up as we pray in the Holy Spirit.
We built an edifice or a big wall around us.
We strengthen the spirit man.

Jude 1:20
Maintain Your Life with God
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,

We encourage ourselves when we pray in the spirit and we also shift the atmosphere around us.

1 Corinthians 14:15-17
Well then, what shall I do? I will pray in the spirit, and I will also pray in words I understand. I will sing in the spirit, and I will also sing in words I understand. For if you praise God only in the spirit, how can those who don’t understand you praise God along with you? How can they join you in giving thanks when they don’t understand what you are saying? You will be giving thanks very well, but it won’t strengthen the people who hear you.

4. Speak to your SOUL.
Speak to your soul and don’t live in your soul.

Psalms 42:11

Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my help and my God.

Psalms 103:1-2
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and do not forget all his benefits—

Finally brethren.

Jeremiah 12:5
The LORD’s Reply to Jeremiah
“If racing against mere men makes you tired,
how will you race against horses?
If you stumble and fall on open ground,
what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan?

Declaration:
That we will run with the horses and not stumble in the thickets.
