I. Personal and Family Altars
Judges 6:25-26, 28 - “Now it came to pass the same night that the Lord said to him, “Take your father’s young bull, the second bull of seven years old, and tear down the altar of Baal that your father has, and cut down the wooden image that is beside it; 26 and build an altar to the Lord your God on top of this rock in the proper arrangement, and take the second bull and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the image which you shall cut down.
28 And when the men of the city arose early in the morning, there was the altar of Baal, torn down; and the wooden image that was beside it was cut down, and the second bull was being offered on the altar which had been built.”
> The family altars are evidence of disobedience to God and the servitude of Satan linked to a family’s impoverishment (financial, health, relationship, business).
Pray Father, I receive the discernment, boldness and courage to recognise and tear down every Satanic altar that may be active in my life and family. As the eyes of my understanding is enlightened, every generational altar, bloodline altar, kinsmen altar, lineage altar, or ancestral altar is discerned, torn down and pulled apart with the sword of the Spirit and the word of God IJN.
II. Community and National Altars
1 Kings 18:19, 23-24 - “Now therefore, send and gather all Israel to me on Mount Carmel, the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal, and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”
Therefore let them give us two bulls; and let them choose one bull for themselves, cut it in pieces, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it; and I will prepare the other bull, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it. 24 Then you call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord; and the God who answers by fire, He is God.”
> There is a direct link between active altars and the activity of darkness in households, businesses, or marketplace.
Reflections
1. Behind every system governed by the kingdom of darkness are prophets (of Baal, and of Asherah) that declare demonic agenda.
2. Behind every system are altars erected that open as portals into the spiritual realm.
3. Behind every system, sacrifices are continuously offered to maintain evil lordship over people.
4. As an intercessor, you have an intelligence that is hidden from the prophets of other gods.
1 Kings 18:30-31, 36-39 - “Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come near to me.” So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down. 31 And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying, “Israel shall be your name.”
Pray Father, I erect an altar of prayer, worship and sacrifice unto you my Father. Let the fire of God be preserved on my altar of prayer and worship. Because of my right standing with You, let my effectual fervent prayer produce dynamic power IJN
