Protocol for Commanding Spiritual Power
Protocol can be defined as the original notes of observations made during an experiment; or the precise method for carrying out or reproducing a given experiment.
God loves every one, but does not entrust His power to every one.
Ephesians 1:15-19
“Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power. ”
Luke 24:49 - “Listen carefully: I am sending the Promise of My Father [the Holy Spirit] upon you; but you are to remain in the city [of Jerusalem] until you are clothed (fully equipped) with power from on high.”
2 Peter 1:3-4 - “As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
Luke 19:44 - “…and they will level you to the ground, you [Jerusalem] and your children within you. They will not leave in you one stone on another, all because you did not [come progressively to] recognize [from observation and personal experience] the time of your visitation [when God was gracious toward you and offered you salvation].”
To command the divine power God has given:
Points to note
1. You have to receive by faith with thanksgiving what has been given to you.
2. The Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him
Genesis 1:1 - “In the beginning, God…”
1 Corinthians 1:24 - “but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.”
John 1:18 - “No one has seen God [His essence, His divine nature] at any time; the [One and] only begotten God [that is, the unique Son] who is in the intimate presence of the Father, He has explained Him [and interpreted and revealed the awesome wonder of the Father].”
Christ is the demonstration of the wisdom of God.
Daniel 11:32b - “but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”
Prayer Points:
Prayer Point 1
Satan will encourage you to chase anything but pursue the revelation in the knowledge of God.
Father, I annul anything that is obstructing my pursuit of the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ today. I receive a fresh passion to chase after God wholeheartedly today.
3. After the revelation of who Jesus Christ is, then the eyes of your understanding, which hitherto were darkened, can now be enlightened.
Matthew 6:22-23 - “The light of the body is the eye. If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!”
Without superior understanding, you cannot take advantage of the instruments of dominion God has provided for you.
Job 17:4 - For You have hid their heart from understanding; therefore You shall not exalt them.”
Proverbs 21:16 - “The man that wanders out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.”
Daniel 5:14 - “I have even heard of thee that the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom are found in thee.”
Your rising, promotion, or lifting is tied to your understanding of the mysteries of this Kingdom. Access to superior understanding will make people marvel at the possibilities God is able to demonstrate in and through your life.
Prayer Point 2
1 John 5:20 - “And we know that the Son of God is come and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true; and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and Eternal Life.”
Father, let your Light penetrate every nook and cranny of darkness in my mind and soul. As I study your word, let my understanding be fruitful, unraveling the mysteries of the Kingdom. Make me to be like like the children of Issachar, who were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do. IJN
4. Now that the eyes of your understanding are enlightened, you will be equipped that you may know your:
How my people perish for lack of knowledge…
a. Calling - What is the hope of His calling.
b. Capital - The riches of the glory of His inheritances in the saints.
c. Capacity - The exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe.
Prayer Point 3
Father, amplify my capacity to believe You and Your Word. I thank You because you are fulfilling your calling and all the good pleasure of Your goodness and work of faith in me with power, that the name of the Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in me, and me in Him according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ IJN.
