 The Blessed Assurance

“Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine
Heir of salvation, purchase of God
Born of his Spirit, washed in His blood
This is my story, this is my song” -Fanny Crosby

1 John 5:14 “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”

2 Timothy1:12 “...For I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

Romans 8:38-39 “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Psalm 23:1 “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want”

Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

In view of His Faithfulness and His Blessed Assurance, God is calling us to Consider these two Key Invitations:
Prayers points:
1. “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16.
This is an invitation to Ask, seek and Knock Mathew 7:7

2. “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23.
This is an invitation to hang in there in the face of what may seem like unanswered prayers, “Therefore take up the whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand, Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth. Ephesians 6:13-14
