1. Maintaining an Atmosphere of His Presence

1 Kings 17:1 - “And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.”

- Relationship and communion with Holy Spirit. 

- ⁠Keep a silent dialogue going with the Spirit during the course of your daily walk.

1 Kings 17:3-5  - “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. 4 And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.” 5 So he went and did according to the word of the Lord, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan.”

Romans 12:1 - “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”

 

7. Maintaining an Atmosphere of Unity

1 Kings 19:10 - “So he said, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life.”

 

Psalm 133:1,20 - “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!…For there the Lord commanded the blessing— life forevermore.
