DOMINION BY DESIGN Part IX - ENGAGING THE GHOST PROTOCOL (THE WORD BECAME FLESH)

Content:

In the realm of theology, we often encounter the concept of protocol, which refers to an established system of rules or procedures that govern significant events or state affairs. But when we turn our focus to the spiritual dimension, we delve into what can be termed as the Ghost Protocol—a divine system that dictates the order of spiritual engagement and the precedence of the Spirit in the believer’s life.

The Concept of Ghost Protocol in Scripture
The words of Jesus in John 17:16 echo this principle: “They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.” This verse encapsulates the idea that as followers of Christ, our conduct and consciousness should align with the spiritual realm, governed by divine principles rather than earthly standards.

1 Corinthians 15:49 - “And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.”

Romans 8:29 - “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

The narrative of creation reveals God's intention for humanity's dominion over creation, as articulated in Genesis 1:28: "Then God blessed them, and God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.'"

Here, we see the establishment of human authority—a divinely ordained order, a prototype of the Ghost Protocol, where humanity is entrusted with stewardship over creation.

I. Word-Consciousness
In Genesis 1:3, the foundational act of creation is initiated by God's spoken word: “Then God [who is Spirit] said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light.” This underscores the concept of Word-consciousness, where divine utterance manifests reality. As believers, our engagement with the Word should reflect this truth, as exhorted in Joshua 1:8: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe…”

John 1:14 reinforces the transformative power of the Word: “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

> Believers often strive for the Word to change their circumstances, yet the primary purpose of the Word is to first bring transformation within them.

The word of God is not merely a tool to alter one’s situation, but a divine instrument meant first and foremost to renew the heart and mind. Through this internal transformation, outward change naturally follows, aligning the believer's life more fully with the will and purpose of God.

II. Spirit-Consciousness
God’s declaration, “Then God…” also calls us to spirit-consciousness, an awareness of the Spirit’s leading in every aspect of life. This concept aligns with the instruction in Joshua 1:8: “For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

1 Corinthians 2:11 further illustrates the life of one who delights in God's law and meditates upon it: “For what man knows the things of man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God.”

III. Faith-Consciousness
Finally, we come to the command, “Let there be light,” symbolising faith-consciousness—the confidence in things unseen, leading to their realisation. The interplay between divine command and manifestation reflects the principle of faith described in Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is the substance [realisation] of things hoped for, the evidence [confidence] of things not seen.”

The believer’s journey is marked by this faith, as Hebrews 11:6 reminds us: “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Contend for Superior Results
The ultimate outcome of engaging with the Ghost Protocol (the Word becoming flesh) is evident in the creation narrative. Genesis 1:4 states, “And God saw the light, that it was good,” a testament to the excellence that comes from divine order. This is paralleled in Joshua 1:8: “…For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

In conclusion, understanding and engaging with the Ghost Protocol empowers believers to live in alignment with God's design, exercising dominion with faith, word-consciousness, and spirit-consciousness—ultimately leading to a life marked by divine success and superior results.
