Topic: DOMINION BY DESIGN Part XIII - THREE DIMENSIONS OF PROGRESS.

Content:

As believers, we are called to walk in dominion, not by our strength, but through the power and grace of the One who sponsors us—God Almighty. The progress we make in life is not solely based on human effort, but on a partnership with the Lord, who empowers us at every stage. Let us explore the nature of progress that come from understanding the character of God, His promises, and what He gives to those who rely on Him.

1. The Character of the One Who Sponsors You
Our confidence in life comes from knowing the One who backs us—God, the Creator of all things. He is everlasting, all-powerful, and infinitely wise. He does not grow tired or weary, nor does He falter in His plans. When we place our trust in Him, we can have assurance of unshakable strength.

Isaiah 40:28: The Nature and Character of God
“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.”

Prayer PointšŸ”„
Thank God for His unchanging nature and infinite power
“Father, I thank You because You are the everlasting God, the Creator of all things. I praise You for Your unsearchable wisdom and power. You never grow weary, and I put my trust in You today."

2. Overcoming Challenges and Pressing On
A believer’s journey involves trials and obstacles. However, God empowers those who lean on Him to not only endure but to rise above their challenges. While human strength falters, divine strength carries us further than we can imagine. Those who rely on their own strength may grow weary, but those who trust in God are given supernatural endurance.

Jeremiah 12:5:
“If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, then how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, in which you trusted, they wearied you, then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?"

This passage encourages us to rely on God’s strength to face increasingly difficult challenges. He prepares us for greater tasks when we depend on Him for the lesser ones.

Prayer PointšŸ”„
Pray for strength and wisdom to overcome challenges and press forward
"Lord, in times of weariness and challenge, help me to rely on Your strength and wisdom. Empower me to face and overcome every obstacle, knowing that You are preparing me for greater things."

3. Renewal and Strength Through Waiting on the Lord
The promise of renewal is for those who wait on the Lord. It is in waiting—through faith and patience—that we find our strength renewed. God lifts us above our limitations and empowers us to soar like eagles. This is a divine exchange: we give Him our weakness, and He gives us His strength.

Isaiah 40:31: The Antidote to Busyness
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."

> Stop trying to solve your problems with busyness.

1 John 4:17: New breed of men who will walk the surface of the earth like gods.
“…because as He is, so are we in this world.”

Psalm 46:10: The Art of Being Still
“Be still, and know that I am God…”

What Does He Give to Those Who Qualify?
God’s gifts are for the weak and those who have no might of their own. He is not looking for the strong, but for those willing to acknowledge their need for Him. When we confess our insufficiency, He increases our strength, and we are empowered to move in the dimension of divine ability.

Isaiah 40:29:
“He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength."

They shall walk and not faint. Men ought always to pray and not faint (Luke 18:1).
They shall run and not be weary.
They shall mount up with wings like eagles.

- The training, capacity and technology required to walk is different than that required to run or to fly.
- The maximum speed that can be reached at walking is different from running or flying.
- The distance that can be covered by walking is smaller compared to what can be covered when you run or fly.
- There are infinite possibilities in God that are unaccessible and unattainable to those who do not make a practice of waiting on Him.
