A. There was another in the fire, in the lions Den, in the prison , in the battlefield , 

 

Daniel 3:16-19

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up. ”

Then Nebuchadnezzar was furious with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and his attitude toward them changed. He ordered the furnace heated seven times hotter than usual and commanded some of the strongest soldiers in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and throw them into the blazing furnace.

 

Daniel 3:24-26

Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, “Weren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?”

They replied, “Certainly, Your Majesty.”

He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.”

Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, “Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!”

So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire,

 

At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions’ den. When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?”

Daniel answered, “May the king live forever! My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.”

 

1 Samuel 17:37 ( David overcomes the king)

The LORD who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.”

Saul said to David, “Go, and the LORD be with you.”

 

1 Samuel 17 :45-46 ( David overcomes the fear of the Israelites )

David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the LORD will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel.

 

1 Samuel 17:50-51 ( the enemy was slain by his own sword)

So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him.

David ran and stood over him. He took hold of the Philistine’s sword and drew it from the sheath. After he killed him, he cut off his head with the sword.

When the Philistines saw that their hero was dead, they turned and ran.

 

 

Remember the Enemy will be slain by their own evil intention. 

- the fire consumed the guards that bound Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego 

- the false accusers and their families who falsely accused Daniel were eaten by the lions .

- David used Goliaths sword to kill Goliath and cut off his head . 

Fear not because you are on the “Winning team”

 

 

 

 

B. Influence around you : 

 

1 Corinthians 3:7-9

So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.

 

Proverbs 20:24

A person’s steps are directed by the LORD.

How then can anyone understand their own way?

 

1 Corinthians 1:27-29

But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not —to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.

- Thank you father for placing me on the winning team.

- Thank you father for being the light in my valley

- Thank you father for varying me when I fell

- Thank you father for cutting me loose from my enemies 

- Thank you father for granting me the aid of the Holy Spirit in my spiritual warfare .

- Help me father to glorify you in my victory 

- Direct me father to share my victorious story where you intend me to do so. Let shame and shyness take a back seat when it comes to glorify you. 

- Help me father to be your influence at home , at my workplace, at the airport, at the market.
