Everyone of us have a story to tell on how God have rescued and saved us. Testimony is a powerful weapon of God delivered by the Spirits revelation through us. When we testify, we partner with God to deliver His saving power, grace, love and healing to territories God led you to go. As our theme this year TMTT God will give us territories for His glory and we should advance shouting His testimony in our mouths and with our lives as living testimonies as God increase our sphere of influences. Like the woman in the well in the book of John verse 4. God revealed to her who He is and she was awe struck and believed then run straight away to her village, the very village that despise her because of her wrong doing. And the bible says many where saved because of her boldness to testify. She simply introduce Jesus to them:

 

John 4;39-42

39Many Samaritans from the village believed in Jesus because the woman had said, “He told me everything I ever did!” 40When they came out to see him, they begged him to stay in their village. So he stayed for two days, 41long enough for many more to hear his message and believe. 42Then they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not just because of what you told us, but because we have heard him ourselves. Now we know that he is indeed the Savior of the world.”

 

 

 

1 Thessalonian 4:1

1Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You live this way already, and we encourage you to do so even more. 

 

As Apostle Paul encouraged the believers in Thessalonians that they should continue to pursue pleasing God for is it our lives that people our around hears more than our words. How do we make sure that we are focused in pursuing this, verses below will tell us we need the Holy Spirit to help us and surrender our control to Him. It is not by might nor by power but by His Spirit. Remember we don’t a testimony if not for Jesus finished work in the cross and His Holy Spirit revealing it to us so it is impossible to protect our testimonies without the Holy Spirit who reveal to us all spiritual knowledge and wisdom.

 

Colossians 1:9-10

9So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.

 

Galatians 5:16

16So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.

 

Philippians 4:8-9

8And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. 9Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

 

“It is better caught than taught” as the saying goes. Apostle Paul emphasis in and urges them to fix their thoughts on things of heaven as they heard and saw him do, he led by example not by words and God used it mightily even us today our blessed of his life and testimony. A potent testimony is carrying the Spirit of God that is more able to carry out wonders and miracles. It is not written and spoken by mere words but is a life lived for God that is written in the hearts of every person interact with the vessel of testimony.

 

2 Corinthians 3:2-3

2The only letter of recommendation we need is you yourselves. Your lives are a letter written in our hearts; everyone can read it and recognize our good work among you. 3Clearly, you are a letter from Christ showing the result of our ministry among you. This “letter” is written not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human hearts.

 

 

 

Revelation 12:11 NLT

11And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb

and by their testimony.

And they did not love their lives so much

that they were afraid to die.

 

Your testimony of Jesus a potent power that defeats the enemy and a receipt of manifest Gods power here on earth as it is in heaven. We are His living epistles, vessels that he uses to manifest His glory to all to see. So don’t take lightly your testimony for in every victory in the bible they testify in their mouths His name and live His ways. For when we testify, we introduce Jesus and the power of His finished work in the cross the people who hears and see our testimony. The creation is actually waiting for our manifestation/testimony that we are Gods children that the word become flesh in us, where people can read His words in the way we live our lives thus bringing the manifest power of God in our world dismantling all demonic altars, chains and grip in our world.

 

Romans 8:19

9For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. 

 

Revelation 19;10

10Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said, “No, don’t worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you and your brothers and sisters who testify about their faith in Jesus. Worship only God. For the essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus.”

 

Prayer: Lord I thank you that our testimony of You carries Your power and itself a spirit of prophecy. Help us to recognise the power of our life testimonies of You. Here iam Lord use me as your clean vessel ready to testify Your power and authority to every territory You led me to for Your Glory.
